Fluffy’s New Year’s Resolutions

Happy New Year! Are you making resolutions this year? If so, your feline buddy will be right there with you as you strive to meet your goals. In fact, your pet may have a few plans of her own for the coming year! Read on as a local Oconomowoc, WI vet lists some of Fluffy’s top resolutions.

Get More Sleep

Kitties certainly are drowsy little furballs. In fact, Fluffy can sleep up to 20 hours a day! Your sleepy pet may want to beat her 2017 napping record.

Cuddle

Some of our feline pals are extremely affectionate, and love nothing more than to snuggle up with their favorite humans. Fluffy may try to get even more cuddle time in this year! Help your pet reach this goal by spending lots of quality time with her.

Work On Yoga

Cats are very flexible, as you may have noticed. In fact, Fluffy can sleep in positions usually associated with knots or pretzels! Your pet may try a few new stretches or napping positions this year.

Improve Sprint Speeds

One of Fluffy’s more adorable quirks is her habit of suddenly bolting out of a room at full speed for no apparent reason. Your cat may try to improve her time in 2018!

Explore

We always recommend that cats stay indoors. Fluffy is both safer and healthier as an inside pet. That said, your kitty can still do some exploring this year. Your furball may seize the chance to check out a closet, cabinet, or room that is usually closed. She may even explore the inside of an end table!

Get Better At Using The Computer

Does your kitty sometimes sleep on your computer, or walk across the keyboard? Does Fluffy curl up around your mouse, or bat at your computer wires? Our feline friends don’t really understand how computers work, but nevertheless, they have managed to flood the internet with adorable photos and memes. Your furball may try to enhance her skills in the next 12 months.

Try New Playthings

Have you ever bought your cat an expensive cat toy, only to have her ignore it and play with a cotton ball or crumpled up piece of paper? Fluffy may just be trying to stretch her boundaries a bit!
